What are the cutoff times for my paperwork?
Company drivers must have their signed paperwork in by Monday before the pickup time on the TripPak box. If a driver scans his paperwork, it must be scanned by midnight on Monday to pay on Wednesday.
When does my Comdata card reset?
Comdata card advance resets Monday night at midnight.
When do advances pull?
Advances pull from previous Tuesday to current Monday.
When does my sign-on bonus pay? Effective 10/20/08
Southern Driver: 1st part will pay in 6 months - 2nd part will pay in 12 months - 3rd part will pay in 18 months.
Northern Drivers: 1st part will pay in 6 months - 2nd part will pay in 12 months - 3rd part will pay in 18 months - 4th part will pay in 24 months.
The recruiting department gives payroll a bonus list every Thursday. These are keyed in after lunch. If your pay goes to your Comdata card, your bonus will load to your card on Thursday afternoon. If you have direct deposit, your bonus will pay by paper check and mailed on Thursday afternoon.
How do I request vacation pay and how much will I be paid?
Drivers are eligible for 1 week vacation pay on or after the 1st pay period after they have reached their 1 year anniversary. It is paid at 1% of the previous twelve months gross earnings, which is the equivalent of 1 week. After completing 3 years of service, the driver is eligible for 2% of the previous 12 months gross earnings which is the equivalent of 2 weeks vacation. In order to get paid for vacation after reaching eligibility, the driver must request to be paid through his driver manager. The driver manager would then have to turn in a pay sheet to the payroll department and this would be keyed in to process in the following payroll.
When does my mileage bonus pay?
Mileage bonus is paid monthly and processed on Thursday of the 2nd full week of the month. Driver managers are given a copy of the projected MPG at the beginning of each month.

Advances pull from the previous Wednesday to the current Tuesday.
When does my Comdata card reset?
Comdata card advances reset on Monday midnight, so if an advance is drawn off on a Tuesday it will pull out of that Friday's settlement.
When do fuel purchases pull?
Fuel pulls from the previous Wednesday to the current Tuesday. However, the fuel will also pull with the load even if the fuel is purchased after Tuesday midnight. Example: Fuel is purchased Wednesday morning while dispatched on a load and then the load is emptied that same day. If the paperwork is turned in before the cut-off time and pays that Friday, the fuel purchased Wednesday morning will pull out of that week's settlement.
Can I get an advance?
Under certain circumstances, pay on a load may be advanced via comchek. If this does occur then the comchek will pull out of the settlement and the load will pay through the normal payroll process on the settlements. Comcheks are not pay, they are advances on pay and will always be deducted out of the settlement against the load when the load actually pays. ALL REVENUE must be processed as such, and a comchek does not reflect on your 1099 as revenue.
Should I use Truck Stop Scanning or drop my paperwork?
If used correctly, Truck Stop Scanning is much more efficient that dropping your envelope and bill of lading in a TripPak box because you receive a sticker which is used as a tracking number and it also does not depend on a DHL driver picking up the paperwork on time for you to get paid.

What is mini pay?
Minimum pay for owner operators is $335.00. An owner would get either mileage pay or minimum pay on a load, whichever is greater. Example: Owner operator makes 92cpm and gets a load that has 200 loaded miles and 100 empty miles. At the owner's mileage rate, he would make 92cpm times the total mileage of 300 = $276.00. In this case, mini pay would process paying the driver minimum pay of $335.00 plus empty miles at his rate of pay.
